MAS Consulting Engineers is an established civil engineering firm with over 10 years of experience located in downtown Fort Worth. We specialize in the planning, design, and construction support of municipal infrastructure and private development projects throughout North Texas.
We're looking for a motivated Civil Engineer (EIT) who is ready to build a successful career in civil engineering. At MAS, you'll work directly with experienced Professional Engineers on real projects from concept through construction while gaining hands-on experience in design, permitting, client coordination, and construction support.

What You'll Work On
You'll contribute to a variety of municipal infrastructure and private development projects throughout North Texas, including:
Water distribution systems
Sanitary sewer collection systems
Storm drainage systems
Roadway and paving improvements
Site development and grading
Utility infrastructure improvements
Municipal Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects
Responsibilities
Prepare civil engineering construction plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D
Assist with the design of water, wastewater, drainage, roadway, and site development projects
Develop grading plans, utility layouts, profiles, and construction details
Perform engineering calculations, quantity takeoffs, and construction cost estimates
Coordinate with project managers, surveyors, utility companies, and public agencies
Respond to plan review comments and assist with permitting efforts
Participate in occasional field visits and construction observations
Support projects from concept through construction
What You'll Learn
As an EIT at MAS, you'll gain experience in:
Civil 3D design and plan production
Water, wastewater, drainage, roadway, and site development design
Utility coordination and agency permitting
Construction cost estimating
Client communication and project coordination
Construction administration and field observations
Project delivery from preliminary design through construction
Qualifications Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
Engineer in Training (EIT) certification, or eligibility to obtain certification shortly after graduation
Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Preferred
1 to 3 years of civil engineering experience or a recent graduate
Experience with municipal infrastructure or land development projects
Familiarity with North Texas municipal design standards
Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software is a plus
